On behalf of the families of Ashdod, and with the deepest gratitude of our kindergarten toddlers, elementary school children, and local youth, we thank the brave soldiers of the United States Armed Forces and the IDF. As you stand together to shield our skies against the Iranian threat, you are doing more than fulfilling a mission—you are protecting the playgrounds, the classrooms, and the peace of mind of our city’s youngest generation. During these challenging days, the partnership between the United States and Israel is not only a strategic alliance but also a powerful symbol of shared values, courage, and a commitment to peace. Ashdod, as a major coastal city and strategic gateway, understands firsthand the vital importance of this protection. Our residents deeply appreciate the dedication of the men and women who work day and night to ensure the safety of our communities. As a small token of our appreciation, the children of our kindergartens and schools have prepared a digital booklet filled with their own drawings, personal messages, and blessings. Through their artwork and their words, they wish to share a simple but heartfelt message: Thank you for protecting our home.
